it represents really well, how old traditions are cut off by the modern age. Its really beautiful and meaningful. the past is the past and the future is empty. The contrast is really amazing too! Congrats!!

That is stunning... I love how intense it is and how white the trees are inside, you get the feeling of freshly cut onions as someone mentioned before. But it feels like if you touched it, it would sting...
It's a very powerful image and I love the color.

Wow...the trees look like onions inside and each one was cut at almost the exact same angle as the next. It's powerful and sort of creepy and I like what it's saying. I love how in the bottom of the painting, the roots all tangle together like living things. :omg:
